To help ensure a safe, effective, and comfortable acupuncture experience, please review the following before your appointment:
What to Wear

Wear loose, comfortable clothing

Sleeves and pant legs should roll up easily to allow access to arms and legs

Avoid tight jeans, restrictive clothing, or heavy layers when possible
Eating & Hydration

Eat a light meal or snack 1–2 hours before your visit

Do not come in on an empty stomach

Stay well-hydrated before and after treatment
Medications & Medical Conditions
Please inform your practitioner if you:

Are pregnant or trying to conceive

Are currently on chemotherapy or cancer-related treatments

Take blood thinners (e.g., warfarin, Eliquis, Xarelto, aspirin)

Have diabetes, bleeding disorders, or a pacemaker

Have any recent surgeries, infections, or major health changes
This information helps us tailor your treatment safely and appropriately.
Day of Your Appointment

Arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time for check-in

Silence your phone during treatment

Avoid strenuous exercise immediately before your session
After Treatment

You may feel relaxed, energized, or mildly fatigued but this is normal

Drink plenty of water
-
Avoid heavy workouts or alcohol for the rest of the day if possible
